CV (updated February 2025)Hello. I am Rishabh Adiga. I am a second-year MSCS student at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. I completed my undergrad
at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT Madras) in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Artificial Intelligence.
I am currently advised by Prof. Varun Chandrasekaran and closely collaborating with Prof. Lakshminarayanan Subramanian, Dr. Besmira Nushi and Dr. Vibhav Vineet. My research interests focus on developing reliable, interpretable and safe AI.
I am actively working on projects involving bias mitigation in language models, few-shot learning optimization, and enhancing spatial reasoning capabilities in vision language models. Recently, I've developed ATLAS (Attention-based Targeted Layer Analysis and Scaling), a novel technique for localizing and mitigating bias in language models, and created new methods for optimizing few-shot example selection that have shown significant improvements over previous approaches.
I am also working on Analysis of Privacy Policies using LLMs in the Contextual Integrity framework.
I am currently looking for internships for summer 2025 in Machine Learning and NLP.
Feel free to contact me for any further details regarding my portfolio or for collaborations!
